35 questions you can practice answering for your interview

As you well know, when you apply for a job as a cabin crew member within any airline, you will have to go through an interview. Here it is checked whether your personality, mentality and goals are appropriate for the position you are asked for. Here are some “misleading” questions asked during the interview and some tips on how to answer them. These questions are not questions addressed to a particular airline but are questions that will prepare you and help you, so you can know what to expect.

USUAL QUESTIONS:

1. Do you like to travel? Tell me about your favorite destination and a destination that is on your travel list.

How to answer: Being so often away from home can be difficult, so be careful to express your interest in new trips and experiences. As a flight attendant, you will have the opportunity to fly in many different locations. The interviewer wishes to be sure you will enjoy this aspect.

2. If you are asked to make a flight on your free day, unexpectedly, how would you do?

How to answer: What would be the positive aspect for you? Most certainly these flights are paid extra. Develop with the interviewer to discuss how you will react in a situation like this, taking into account the benefits the company offers in these situations.

3.Why do you want to work for this airline?

How to answer: It is important to do some research about the company you are applying for. To this question, it is helpful to come up with more detailed information so that the interviewer realizes your desire to be hired.

SUPPLEMENTARY QUESTIONS COMPLETED:

4. How do you handle a situation where a passenger continues to violate basic flight rules such as wearing a seatbelt?

5. Describe a situation when you could influence the actions of others positively.

6. If you were in an unknown city, what would you do to find a restaurant?

7. Tell me what you know about our company.

8. If you have a passenger who can not rest, due to the anxiety of an airplane crash, how would you do?

9. How would you evaluate people’s abilities?

10. How would you deal with a situation where a passenger complained about the passenger next to him for snoring too hard?

11. Are you sick?

12. How tolerant are you with people?

13. How long do you see as a flight attendant?

14. When did you realize you wanted to become a flight attendant?

15. What type of emergency training have you completed?

16. If a passenger becomes seriously ill during a flight, how do you handle this?

17. Have you ever had altercations with a stranger, the unknown person? How did you solve the situation?

18.Why do you think passengers say their discontent to the cabin crew, even if the crew is trying to help them?

19.What are your expectations for compensation?

20. How do you feel about dress code and professional standards?

21. On the current job, what do you like most?

22. Have you ever been in a team where someone does not respect their attributions? How did you do it?

23. What would you do if you saw one of your colleagues deliberately rude to a passenger?

24. Give me an example of the time you deposit at work.

25. Describe a situation where you demonstrated the initiative and acted without waiting for instructions. What was the result?

26.What do you think is or is the main responsibility of cabin crew members?

27. Apply for other jobs?

28. How well do you accommodate during long flights?

29.Would you like to take this career?

30. Tell me about you.

Tip: You are not talking about what is already in your CV. Instead, you’re talking about something in yours that was not found in your CV, which will surprise the interviewers.

31.Why do you think your colleagues would describe you?

32. Do you prefer to work daily?

33. Think of a difficult boss, teacher, or other person. What made it difficult? How did you interact successfully with this person?

34. Why are you the best candidate for us?

35. Do you consider yourself a creative person?

When answering these questions, you have to express honesty.

As you speak, the interviewers are very much checking your integrity. Some questions may not apply because you may be a fresh graduate, but still you will be checked personality. Practice makes perfect.

These questions may not necessarily be required, but it is always better to be prepared.
