Alexandru Mălăncioiu

He started flying at the age of 16 at the Gheorghe Banciulescu Territorial Aeroclub in Ploiesti, flying both ultralight aircraft and gliders, where he also took aerobatics courses and later became a member of the national team. He then attended the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Air Navigation specialisation taught in English, at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, where he completed an internship at ROMATSA in air navigation and air routes, working on the FRA (Free Route Airspace) project. After finishing his university studies he began pilot training at the Superior School of Civil Aviation, obtaining his PPL licence and Night Rating, and continued his training at JETAV, where he gained SEP IR, CPL and MEP licences and where he now teaches as a PPL lecturer. He also works at our school as a fun flight instructor on the Boeing 737 simulator.
